Small Group: Saona Island Full Day Tour

This unique experience to Saona Island offering for small groups of 14 pax.
In our experience we visit places not visited by the masses, we will take you to the town of Mano Juan, the only places inside the island where theres people leaving in a small community. Here we will know a community leader who run the turtle conservation area, we will have the time for learn about Turtle and how important they are for the planet. In Mano Juan, we will serve you a breakfast, with sandwiches, juices and fruits.
After Mano Juan Beach, We will be visiting Abanico Beach the most beautiful and famous beach and landscapes, white sands beaches, perfect beach for jump in the water and enjoy the Caribbean Sea of Dominican Republic. Beach chairs and open bar. Abanico Beach, Playa Abanico, here we will enjoy a private self service buffet lunch with Dominican Food. After lunch we will continue to Palmilla Beach to The Natural pools to see star fish. We finish at the reef doing snorkeling for see fish.

We enjoyed the small group tour, the punctuality and the people. The landscapes are magnificent. Disappointed by the visit to the turtle sanctuary, because that was part of our motivation for the choice, and in fact we saw nothing... just a local and some explanations on the importance of turtles... on the other hand amazed by the secret beach. Thanks Melvin

Good evening Thanks for leave your review. Was nice to meet you too. Unfortunately, to see the turtle just hatching is part of the nature that we can not control, sometimes we see it, sometimes we don’t see it. The main meaning about visit the sanctuary is to learn about the important of safe the turtle and to meet a local hero who run the sanctuary in the village and a local leader from that authentic community. We don’t advertise that you will see the turtles, we advertise a visit to the turtle sanctuary at Mano Juan village. It’s important to have that clear. Melvin is a fantastic guide, he will tell you all the history of the Dominican Republic and Sanoa Island. You have to get up very early for the excursion but this allows you to arrive before everyone else and enjoy the deserted beaches before the massive arrival of the big boats. We make 5 stops during the excursion, this allows us to discover 5 different aspects of the island. If you want to escape the overcrowded boats where the alcohol flows freely and the music is too loud you will be in the right place, here we are in a small group in calm and respect.

A visit that every person who visits Punta Cana must do. Melvin is a guide who is very passionate about his work and he does it very well, he prepared everything, explained everything frankly, he is incredible. The beaches are magnificent.
