We had the opportunity to take the Wine Trolley in the off season which made the tour more individualized. We visited four wineries (Ravenswood, Imagery, Buena Vista and Mayo) Ravenswood and Buena Vista were the most interactive with tours of both. Mayo was also a good tour with a smaller sampling room, but very quaint. Imagery was our least favorite as our main "wine steward" wasn't interactive or talkative and seemed as though he was put off by our questions. Our trolley driver was informative and had a lot of character. I would highly recommend this tour and method of getting around Sonoma to check out the wineries the price is inclusive of the Trolley as well as lunch and water. Great value!

Very fun, visited 4 vineyards/wineries in Sonoma area. All were very well planned and ran smoothly. Only one exception to the great wine tasting (which is why the 4 stars instead of 5), the hostess at Chateau St. Jean barely talked, we had to ask what wines she was pouring each time. We told the trolley driver and he said it's not usually like that so maybe we got a dud. That didn't put a damper on the trip though, we still had an amazing time and got to drink some delicious wines! Wear layers because the trolley can get chilly if you sit on the outside. And be prepared to be stared at :) Everywhere we went people were photographing and smiling at our unique mode of transportation. Lunch was included and quite tasty! Plenty of bottled water and soda during included for the ride.

The trolley was cancelled and they sent an escalade instead. It made it better. We had our own private tour. The wineries we visited were all very charming and showed quite a variety of styles from historical to modern. The wines were delicious and our picnic lunch was wonderful. Our driver was committed to make our experience special and unique to our taste.
