I’ve been to Sedona quite a few times and this time I figured I’d try and book with a tour guide. To begin the tour guide himself was a little strict. He first met my self and my mother in a parking lot and was making comments about her smoking, then he told us we were walking wrong, then got huffy with my mother for taking pictures while we was talking, then got upset she strayed maybe 3 feet from the group.. luckily we were in good moods and trying to enjoy our day on what we thought should’ve been a spiritual excursion. on top of all of this he was wearing Native American regalia/jewelry & then decided to have us say a Native American prayer which I thought was different to say the least. I’m native and he just kept going on about all of his experiences with native Americans throughout his life. Given it was something to do, I could’ve easily done this tour on my own with a Google search.

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your tour. I usually keep my groups close together because there are insects and plants that can injure a person if they don't know where they are. And we were on a high mesa with a possible danger of falling. My responsibility is to keep you safe.
My necklace was given to me by a Cherokee Holy Man for a ceremony I did for his family. I also sang at his memorial service when he passed. I wear this every day to celebrate him and his work. I tried to show you one way of traversing a trail so you would have good balance. Again I apologize if you didn't have good tour.
