Booked an 8 am hike. Was contacted and asked to change my time. Guide complained about getting up early to do an 8am hike (the time slot offered online...advice would be don’t offer that time slot).
After discussing options, he said fine he would do the hike (with great hesitation, as if I was inconveniencing him for a service I booked online for a specific time offered) also complained he would have to wake up at 6am.
Bad energy, bad vibes, didn’t go through with the hike because if it was anything like my encounter on the phone it would not be a pleasant time. (No refund offered or given)
Would avoid. Other great options in Sedona where you don’t feel like you’re inconveniencing someone for doing their job.
Came by myself to experience Sedona and get some relief from the heaviness 2020 has taken - highly suggest to your business to greet people with compassion and grace because you have no idea what they are going through. You only have one chance to make a first impression. This was memorable, and not in a good way.

I'm sorry we could not come to agreement on the time for your tour. This was my fault, not the clients fault. She had planned her day around the 8 o'clock tour and I just couldn't do it. Sometimes you just have a bad day and this was mine. If ever you come back to Sedona you have a complementary tour waiting for you. I regret that I didn't take care of you properly. I have changed the starting times to better serve my customers.
