Our tour guide, Richie, was fantastic! He was a local with lots of knowledge about the cemetery and the history of New Orleans. We loved hearing all of the stories about how the cemetery was started, how the vaults work, and how New Orleans has changed over time. We even got some history of Plessy v Ferguson and subsequent rulings. All in all, we enjoyed our tour and would recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans.
