  • A mandatory airport grade security screening is conducted prior to boarding the ferry. This means no liquids, alcohol, weapons or large bags are allowed.
  • Depending on the queues, and time of year, any tour departing from 1pm onwards may not make it to Ellis Island before it closes for the day,
  • Minors (17 or under) must be accompanied by an adult (25+)
  • Due to local regulations, the Statue of Liberty Museum, Ellis Island, and the Ellis Island Immigration Museum may not be open on the date of your visit
  • February 2025 – Due to construction, express boarding is temporarily suspended

Great place to see, but you don’t get anything for paying through an agent. Our tour guide was sat in Starbucks, no sign that she was the tour guide. All she did was hand out our tickets and walk us from Starbucks across the road! Statue is great - and well worth seeing, buy don’t pay extra for a tour.

You checked in late and the manager does take a break between tours. You received fast track reserve access and pedestal access which are both sold out for months.

Due to traffic we were late and they refused to take us in another time or day, we lost our money and our time.

Unfortunately there is a group tour and other passengers and we can not hold up a whole tour for a passenger that is late in traffic. All instructions request that you arrive 15 prior to departure to check in. We did offer you a change fee of $25 to go on the next tour since we lost your ferry tickets to the Statue of Liberty since they are dated and timed tickets. I do not think a 1 star review is justified when you missed a tour and never went on it.
