We thought this would be fun when we booked it. Several weeks later we are sitting on the edge of the boat about to go in the water, thinking we had lost our minds! But we did it and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff is first rate. Three staff, two in the water and one on the boat, and the divers are limited to a maximum of 6. Very manageable number for this trip. The staff was very experienced and gave us a safety talk first. They had snorkel masks, and flippers for everyone, and a very good flotation device for anyone who wanted it. We were not even in the water when we spotted the first sharks which had come up to investigate the boat. No chumming of the water, no baiting or feeding involved. When we went in, our 12 year old grandson was really frightened, and even though the staff told him it was fine if he changed his mind, he went in after being assured that a diver would remain with him for as long as he wanted. After about 10 minutes of hanging on the diver's arm, he let go and was free swimming, diving down and thoroughly enjoying himself. There were about 9 sharks in the half hour or so we were in the water. We could have left anytime and got in the boat, but no one did. It is a real rush. I recommend this activity, but more than that, this company. First rate from start to finish, and very professional. I could not be happier about the experience in any way. They took dozens of pictures and air dropped them us, and the price was reasonable, around 35-50 dollars. If you are thinking about it, do it. Life is short, push the envelope and love what you do.
