Robert Malissa is an award-winning, incredibly funny, laugh provoking, out-of-this -world, comedy magician with low self-esteem (who writes his own bios). He has a very warm style with the goal of sharing the joy inherent in a moment of magic.

Rob encourages participation and ensures that his volunteers and the rest of the audience have a great time.

He is the winner of the Philadelphia Houdini Award and a recipient of both stage and close-up magic awards from the Society of American Magicians.

The entire tour is between 1 to 1.5 hours. The walking time is approx. 1/2 hour. The rest of the time is standing, except for a few locations with some spots to sit.
In the summer, a water bottle is recommended.

Examples include; Watch a penny penetrate a glass bottle to honor the saying, "a penny saved, is a penny earned" Enjoy "Les Mis" the musical card trick, a song parody/magic trick Experience spirit writing at the alley, "Little Boy's Court"... and much, much, more! This was an excellent experience. The magic and jokes were great, and Robert was so personable and interesting. The tour is more magic/comedy than information, but I still learned a lot of super fun things about the city and would highly recommend this.

Very entertaining while being educated about parts of Old Town Philadelphia. Brought to out of the way spots that is both historic and interesting and atceach spot her has entertaining jokes and tricks.

Our tour guide was warm, friendly and engaging. He performed relevant magic tricks to entertain us, while learning a little bit of history about the sites in Philadelphia. The tour is family-friendly and there were very nice people in my group. It is how one might imagine a school field trip should be-educational, yet entertaining.
