Chicago’s most entertaining magic show! Fun, intimate, sometimes outrageous, and always hilarious.

Theater is located at 3453 N Halsted Street (near the SE corner of Cornelia Ave). Door opens 15 minutes before showtime and seating is general admission.

Venue is BYOB for guests 21+. Cups and bottle openers are available if needed. We do not stock ice but there is a 7-Eleven just down the street (3407 N Halsted). Performance runs approximately 1 hour.

I don’t leave reviews often, but wanted to make sure that Chicagoans as well as visitors go to see a magic show at Trickery. After a Sunday lunch celebration of my sister’s and brother-in-law’s anniversary, we headed to Trickery Chicago, not really knowing what to expect. We had a blast!!!! The magic tricks were amazing, but the accompanying jokes made the show even more entertaining. We loved Aaron’s passionate and comical performance in the intimate setting. It was funny and charming and soooo worth seeing. Highly recommend… and we’ll be back for more.

I've been to this show 3 times and will go again! The magician (Aaron) will keep you guessing, and then he'll amaze you even more. The balloon trick was my favorite (or is it even a trick?!) He gets the audience involved, which is fun. A great place for a date or to go with friends. Aaaaaaand it's BYOB!

Wonderful show in an intimate, comfortable atmosphere. The magic and illusions are top notch, but Aaron (and his “assistant” Hoppy) are the real stars. His charming, down-to-earth demeanor and sense of humor make the show better than the average magic show. You’ll leave wondering how he did some of the things he was able to do. While the humor is teenage+ in nature, it’s very location appropriate for being in Boystown. BYOB was great and glasses/wine keys were available to use. Snacks/candy were also available for $2 or less. Hands down we would go again if ever in the area.
