This course gives you a real scuba diving experience during which you will go out on the dive boat and do 2 dives on our beautiful coral reefs with one of our instructors. You will see uncountable varieties of colorful fish and possibly nurse sharks, reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, goliath groupers and barracudas. We have no dangerous animals on our reefs, so you can relax and enjoy!

The price of this full day adventure includes everything you need for the experience (academics, rental gear, pool training, instructor for the whole day), and at the end of the day your souvenir certificate. All you need is a swimsuit and a towel.

Please note that you must be able to swim in order to learn how to scuba dive. You must also be in excellent health.

Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Minimum age is 10 years
Must know how to swim comfortably (e.g swim two laps in a pool without floating device and standing up or holding on to side of pool_)
Must fill out a medical questionnaire, please refer to health restrictions below.
Must not fly on an airplane or participate in any activity at high altitude until 10 AM on the next day.

We had booked the Try Scuba course. Our instructor, Joe, was great! Professional and at the same time funny and quick-witted. After a theoretical part in the classroom, we went to practice diving in the pool - and then to two accompanying dives in the sea. A mini shark, stingrays, and turtle included. We'll be back!

I know this is going to sound like BS, but this was the most incredible dive experience I’ve had. On 6/5 we made plans with “Scuba Fun Dive Center” in Key Largo. Everything started on time and our instructor, guide, was perfect. His name is “Scuba Joe”. He was serious about safety, easy to engage with and a great guide underwater. He used an underwater writing pad that made the dives (2) that much more special. We didn’t wonder what we were seeing, he wrote if for us while we were watching. Very cool. The reefs were good, especially the first one. Lots of fish and other sea life. All in all…..a fun and exciting day with an enjoyable and informative host. And…..I got to share this day with my youngest son. Priceless!

Got my open water certification with Zack and Scuba Joe and could not have asked for a better set of instructors. These guys know what they are doing and will make learning both safe and fun. The dive sites that we went to were incredible and I can't wait to come back and dive with these guys again.
