This course gives you a real scuba diving experience during which you will go out on the dive boat and do 2 dives on our beautiful coral reefs with one of our instructors. You will see uncountable varieties of colorful fish and possibly nurse sharks, reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, goliath groupers and barracudas. We have no dangerous animals on our reefs, so you can relax and enjoy!

The price of this full day adventure includes everything you need for the experience (academics, rental gear, pool training, instructor for the whole day), and at the end of the day your souvenir certificate. All you need is a swimsuit and a towel.

Please note that you must be able to swim in order to learn how to scuba dive. You must also be in excellent health.

Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Minimum age is 10 years
Must know how to swim comfortably (e.g swim two laps in a pool without floating device and standing up or holding on to side of pool_)
Must fill out a medical questionnaire, please refer to health restrictions below.
Must not fly on an airplane or participate in any activity at high altitude until 10 AM on the next day.
There will be no refunds if you cannot swim or if a health condition such as listed below prevents you from participating.

Just a warning about signing up for a day of scuba diving instruction with Key Largo scuba..never in my many years of traveling have i come across proprietors who had less interest in the welfare of their customers. If you want to learn to dive find another outfit and make sure you understand what you are signing up for…exactly. We were to do the day long instruction but the day before my 12 year old grandson came down with an earache. We went to Urgent Care and they advised NOT to do the program. Which was fine. But I tried everything to get ahold of the dive shop..left messages etc and no one ever return my calls. I knew we lost our $480. I was fine with that because of their strict “no refund” policy. But we were never offered a reschedule or even the courtesy of a “sorry”. They’ve got my money but they also have my disgust.

Scuba Joe was was my instructor and he was absolutely AMAZING! he helped me out with learning all my resources but having fun in the process. He was always there to remind me the little things! I WOULD SUGGEST SCUBA JOE TO ANYONE! Thank you Scuba Joe!

Joe Nunnally A.K.A. "Scuba Joe" was absolutely AMAZING!!!!!! He trained my 13 year old daughter, Chloe. She was anxious and nervous despite our entire family being Scuba certified and Scuba Friendly. Joe was kind courteous, knowledgeable, trustworthy, full of character, personable, and thoughtful. He made Chloe passionate about diving and put SAFETY first. He is the safest diver I've encountered in my 127 personal dives as an advance diver with Nitrox myself. He is THE BEST in the Florida Keys....HANDS DOWN. I can't wait to dive with him again. Joe...you are now part of our family. We love ya and appreciate all you've done for us!!!
