We visited Universal Studios Hollywood on our US tour with SOTC group. Universal Studios Hollywood is a film studio and theme park located in Los Angeles, California.
We spent a full day right from morning 9.00 till evening 5.00 but it was not enough to cover all rides. The studio was over crowded and at every ride there was long waiting period.
It is one of the oldest and most famous Hollywood film studios still in use and is called as "The Entertainment Capital of LA". It was initially created to offer tours of the real Universal Studios sets and is the first of many full-fledged Universal Studios Theme Parks located across the world. It is spread in huge ares and has lower & upper level for various rides. There are escalators to take you to different levels.
We did transformer ride in the lower lot, it was for around 10 minutes 3D HD ride but had to wait for over an hour to get our turn. Among other rides, we did water world on the upper lot which was very good, then the animal actors which was again good fun also on the upper lot. We also did special effects show on the upper lot which showcased special effects used in Holloywood movies.Other rides which we could not attempt include Harry Potter & the forbidden journey, Flight of the Hippogriff, Ollivanders, Simpsons roller coaster ride, Revenge of the Mummy ride, Jurassic world, King Fu Panda, The walking dead to name some of them. Children will enjoy and will require minimum 3 days to see all rides & attractions. Free WIFI was available in the park. There were lots of shops, cafes and dining places. Lot of walking required so wear comfortable shoes and dress as it gets warm during day.
One of the top attractions in LA.
