Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Children must be accompanied by an adult
Minimum age is 8 years old and minimum weight is 70 lbs (32 kg)
Swimsuits and shorts work best. Secure shoes with a heel-strap are required (tennis shoes, water shoes, sport sandals with a heel-strap). Bare feet and flip-flops are not allowed. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes and a towel

We had Dean guide us down the upper Pigeon river whitewater. Dean has over 20 years on the river leading families. Our boat had 7 family members 14 years old to 71 years young. We did all the rapids with no one being ejected out of the boat. As Dean said “Do you want to go Big or go home?” We all yelled “Go Big!!”

We lucked out and had the best guide on the Pigeon River! Dean tailored our run perfectly for what we wanted. We chose to be adventurous and he delivered! Our group had a blast! (Ages 71, 48, 46, 44, 42, 16 and 14) Dean is knowledgeable, funny and highly skilled. We would recommend him highly and will request him by name when we go back.

First time white water rafting and have now decided to take it up as a hobby when we get back to London, hughly recommend it, our guuide Burkes was fun and knowledgeable on all things Smoky Mountains and also saved my friend from falling in t river! Our hero Burkes!
