Great hike with Daniel as our guide. He is very knowledgeable on the area and was extremely accommodating on our ability to handle the trek! A wonderful break from the Vegas scene; Valley of Fire is a perfect getaway!

I chose Love Hikes because I wanted to get out of Vegas for the day and didn't want to travel as far as the Grand Canyon. I'd never heard of the Valley of Fire, but the photos are saw on Google Images looked incredible. Adam was a brilliant guide; he was full of interesting information about the valley and also Vegas itself. He challenged us but also assisted us where necessary and ensured we were hydrated and had access to the snacks he had provided us. The scenery was awe inspiring, even more so because we were the only ones around. I've never seen anything like it before and we were lucky enough to see a Red Tail Hawk and a pack of Big Horn Sheep. I cannot commend Adam enough for his professionalism, knowledge, and enthusiasm. I had a fantastic time with him exploring what seems to be a somewhat unknown gem of Vegas.

Picked up by Daniel at 7.15am for a November sunrise Moderate hike to the Valley of Fire one hour North of Las Vegas. What an unforgettable morning! Even though my Hotel (The D) was not on their 'list' we were still picked up here. Every moment of the drive was taken up with interesting conversation and information from Daniel. We stopped after 30 minutes at an Indian Reservation service area for toilets and and any last minute shopping. Water and snacks were provided throughout the drive and hike by Daniel. It is all stored in helpful cold compartments in the trunk of the car. Even though it was a moderate hike Daniel soon gauged our abilities and decided to let us try some of the more challenging (off-piste) areas of the Valley but he never pushed us too far, and always made sure we were safe. These areas you would never attempt to travel on your own but as Daniel knows the area so well he makes sure that we cover as much area as possible in the time. We were very lucky to see two female mountain goats during our hike, and on our way back to Vegas we even got to see a Tarantula on the road as the temperature was just about cool enough for them to venture out in the daytime. They actually use the roads to travel as they are flat and retain some of the heat from the sun! Even on our way back Daniel was full of information and he made our hike an unforgettable experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend this tour and any tour with Love Hikes as they are obviously a very professional company. I booked though Viator but you can also book with them direct. Communication was great both before, during and after the hike. I was able to speak to the guys in the office a day before to confirm my attendance, and also add a colleague at short notice. The clocks went back the night before our hike and we even received a text from Love Hikes to remind us to allow for this when being picked up! If you have any desire to book a trip and hike while staying in Vegas then Love Hikes should be your No.1 choice, I can't recommend them highly enough!
