Take a break from the glitz of Las Vegas and escape to the gorgeous natural scenery in Valley of Fire State Park with this morning or afternoon hiking tour. Marvel at petrified wood and 3,000-year-old American Indian petroglyphs as you take an easy, moderate or difficult guided hike through Nevada's oldest state park. During your 4-, 5- or 6-hour tour, you'll also pass through the Moapa River Indian Reservation and catch sight of Lake Mead. This small-group tour is limited to 13 people to ensure more personalized attention from your guide.

The tour requires a minimum number of passengers to operate. There is a possibility that the tour may be cancelled after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring you will be provided with an alternate option or full refund.
If you would like to guarantee the tour's departure (if you are a single passenger booking) there is a $35 fee payable on the date of travel, this will make the tour non-refundable.
Traditionally, animals are not allowed on these experiences but an exception can be made if you book a private tour.

Great fun. Tony was excellent - the pace of the moderate hike was just right with just a few small challenges. Highly recommended and safe. The arrangements were great too - Roberta keeps you informed of arrangements prior to the beginning of the tour. Just make sure you’re wearing appropriate footwear and you’ll be fine.

It was a nice hike through many vibrantly-colored rock formations. In addition, the arches, narrow passages through the canyons and sandstone colors were spectacular. However, we didn’t stick to a particular trail, and it was a bit freeflow! Later we realized that we didn’t see the Fire Wave - apparently a popular attraction!

The hike was exactly what I was looking for! I was worried about temperatures, but the path we took had just the right amount of sunshine. Our guide Matthew was not only informative about the local environment and ecosystems, but he also took the time to answer questions and give wisdom for future ventures. It was super helpful to be directly picked up from the hotel on the strip.
