A Safe and Tranquil Taste of the Wailua River

This three-hour guided tour is a wonderful paddling adventure for the whole family, idyllic paddling on the Wailua River Great panoramic scenery with the landscape and natural history genuinely and safely explained by your water borne guide.

The Wailua River became the center of activity for early Hawaiians and is known as one of Hawaii’s two most sacred places.

At night, it is said that one can still hear ancient drums thunder in concert with the nearby surf. This tour is perfect for those who want a “taste” of this wonderful river.

Izzy was a wonderful guide. Great directions for safety. Ego booster to ones that have never paddled before. Paid attention to details of the paddlers to see if they needed guidance or equipment adjusted. Shared interesting facts along the way. Recommended some great places to eat during our vacation. It was a fabulous day for these 70 year olds.

Aloha Heather, Nice to see folks my age, i.e. 72, still enjoying the great outdoors and the is no better guide than Izzy to smooth the paddle on the lazy and placid Wailua River. Our guide Lindsey was great. Very nice and engaging. The price point was excellent (especially for Kauai) I highly recommend this trip for everyone
