What an unexpected gem! Great experience for fans of the expansive library of Warner Bros TV programs and films, both classic and current. Far better studio tour experience than Universal and Paramount: Universal is way too crowded and commercialized and Paramount doesn’t yield as many displays ans experiences. It was a relaxing day with genuinely kind hosts at every turn. We spent almost four hours from start to finish and it was a little rushed - we had to leave earlier than we wanted to. Plan on five hours max and you won’t run out of time to do and see all at a leisurely pace. Plan a little longer if you want to have lunch at the adorable and reasonably priced Central Perk Cafe. In conclusion: If you want magical rides go to Disney. If you want a genuine studio experience come to Warner Bros. If you want crowds and motion sickness go to Universal.

My husband and I share a deep love of movies, and this studio tour was super satisfying for both the inside information and for the opportunity to see actual studios and other departments that contribute to the making of movies. We got the plus package, so at the beginning of our day, we were served drinks and pastries, and then watched a short video on the history of Warner Bros before getting on the tour trolley. Our tour guide, Sarah, was absolutely superb - she had a lot of great knowledge about everything Warner Bros-related and was super friendly. We got to see the backlot where they film a lot of movies and shows (Gilmore Girls, Young Sheldon, etc.), and we got to visit the actual filming stage where they filmed Friends. We also got to take a tour of the props department trailer that houses a depository of thousands of props. After the two-hour guided tour, we took a leisurely self-guided tour of the remaining exhibits, which included costumes and other props from well-known Warner Bros productions, which include DC films (Batman, Wonder Woman, etc.), Friends, and Harry Potter. There are a lot of activities that you can do while you're there, like design a costume and see how they digitized Dobby the House-Elf. You also get an opportunity to act in a choice of Batman or Harry Potter scene to create a film of yourself. They also have a cafe designed after the show Friends, which is called Center Perk. This is absolutely worth the money; the entire tour is stuffed with details and interesting factoids that you might not learn elsewhere.

We did this tour on a Saturday, August 27th as part of GoCity package. It was great, especially if you are a movies and TV fan. The whole family liked this one better than Universal Studios tour. We stopped at the stage of "All American", it was a highlight for my son, since he loves the show. On the negative side: the driver didn't go through the famous fountain from the opening of Friends and she didn't seem to be very comfortable with us riding in the front with her (she had mask on the whole time, but we didn't choose to ride there, the cart was full). Also, it's too bad they only take two pictures on the "Central Perk" cafe with your camera and they take a picture of a better angle with their camera only, to try to make you buy it. Finally, we were able to park on the street for free, instead of paying for parking there. Just make sure you read the signs on the street. I would repeat this tour next time I go to LA.
