Maui Mountain Activities offers horseback rides that take you up into the West Maui Mountains to view waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance, then down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of Maui's native rainforests and the beauty of its waters. There is a run spot where you can run your horse, if you want (weather permitting), and your guides will take photos of you with your camera along the way. Tour through the petting zoo and experience up close the many animals, which may include mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. This is a 2 hour tour. Soft drinks are provided and complimentary.

ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 10 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.

Everything about our day was awesome! The staff was wonderful and the ranch was great. Our ride took us to some amazing places. Tour guides Nick and Jordan were great!

I love that this is a family run business. The extra care and attention is very apparent. They accommodate you based on the riding ability, and give a thorough briefing on how to handle your horse. The check-in is fun, as they have peacocks, ducks, chicken, a hamster and a bunny named hershey. The ride itself is beautiful! You go up the slopes of the West Maui Mountains on an old cattle trail to a beautiful overlook with a waterfall. Jordyn and Holly were amazing guides. They took pictures for everyone at this very scenic stop. For those riders who want to run, they have two different parts of the trail to do that. It's very fun! Then its down another trail to the coastline for a ride along the Pacific ocean with stunning views. I highly recommend this trip!

This was my first time horseback riding and I was a little bit nervous to say the least. The staff took excellent care of me and gave me a very safe horse for first-timers...named Diamond. She was excellent, not easily spooked, and did exactly what I asked her to. The guides asked us specifically at the rest points how we were doing and if we needed anything changed (for example, at one point I need the height of the stirrup increased and they were more than happy to help! The staff personally takes an interest in you and has a small enough group to be able to attend to everyone. They even will take pictures of you (your group) on your phone at the lookout points! I highly recommend this company! Great views, great people and great memories! I look forward to my next ride with them! :)
