Very interesting park. Sometimes you could swear you were looking at a field of snow. The biggest trail could have been a bit better marked or maybe we went thru it backwards. The boardwalk was closed which was something we wanted to see.

Hi there, I’m glad you found White Sands National Park so fascinating—it really does feel like a snowy landscape at times. The biggest trail can be tricky, especially if taken in the opposite direction, but I hope you still enjoyed the unique scenery. Unfortunately, the boardwalk was closed, but the good news is my tour is valid for a year after booking, so you can always return and explore again! White Sands National Park is well worth the visit. The park rangers are great. They also ensure everyone drives the posted speeds. We did witness a few cars being pulled over for speeding. Wonderful. Walking on the dunes was a great experience.

Did not flow naturally after getting off trail and returning to the path. Will try it again at Mess Verde National Park.
