Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Guests will then meet their personal guide and recieve the necessary equipment Including: life jacket, helmet and paddle.
After your guide double-checks to make sure all equipment is fitted properly, guests then hop on our bus for a short 10-minute ride to the launching point for your trip.

Big Creek is reasonably priced. The staff is great from the front desk to the guide. Pre-rafting instructions is thorough. Safety is first with this organization. The establishment is clean, organized and up-to-date. Adam was our guide and did a great job coaching our family on what to do while rafting and did so with patience and thoroughness. In-between rapids, Adam informed us of facts and points of interest of the area. He truly enjoys what he does at Big Creek, and his love for the outdoors was demonstrated to us on our expedition.

We planned a day of rafting. The first half we planned to go on the rapids and then do the relaxing part of the river after lunch. We had so much fun with Evan and the rest of the guides that we did round two with Evan and our first boat mates again that afternoon. The weather wasn’t great but they were prepared and provided rain jackets for the afternoon and it didn’t keep us from having a blast. Everyone there from the people at the front desk to the bus drivers are great. Don’t forget to check out their shirts, some of the best we found on our entire trip.
