Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Guests will then meet their personal guide and recieve the necessary equipment Including: life jacket, helmet and paddle.
After your guide double-checks to make sure all equipment is fitted properly, guests then hop on our bus for a short 10-minute ride to the launching point for your trip.

So we booked our first time white water rafting trip with the best rated company we could find (big creek Expeditions) Steve was our first guide down the river and he was extremely knowledgeable as he has done white water rafting for 20yrs, he made our first time very fun and memorable! Our second time down we got Cody who had only been doing this for about 1yr, but Steve was Cody’s teacher so he ended up being a lot more fun and safe I’m sure due to the great teacher ! 😁 everyone there was very friendly and helpful. Also they have photographers throughout the woods snapping really good photos that you can purchase at the end of your ride .. Great job Big Creek !!!

We had an amazing time white water rafting! No one in our party of 5 (39, 19, 19, 16, & 14) had ever been before and we can not wait to do it again! Our guide Montana was amazing, and kept us laughing the entire time. She kept us safe and made sure we were enjoying ourself. Thanks Montana!!! We will be back!
