We are family owned and operated as well as locally owned and operated. We are constantly in touch with tour operators to know exactly where the best places to see local wildlife. We do not GUARANTEE Whales or wildlife on our tours but, this is our hometown, we know our waters, you can feel confident traveling with us. Our vessel has indoor seating and outdoor covered seating space. You can walk all around on the deck. We offer a complimentary nonalcoholic beverage service, and light snacks. We have a washroom facility onboard. We look forward to meeting you and showing you the best wildlife viewing opportunities here in Ketchikan. Our vessel is Wheelchair accessible! Tour is usually 2 to 2.5 hours in duration Please understand we do not Guarantee Whales or offer refunds for not seeing them but we will try our best to keep our 90% sighting rate for this season going!!!

Jesse and Evan were fabulous hosts and guides. The ship was immaculate and very comfortable. I have been on numerous whale watch tours but have never encountered anything like the passion of this crew. We saw so many whales and learned so much. But mostly just had a great day !

Seeing whales was part of our bucket list, and how wonderful that we chose Eagle One to have the experience. Booking was very easy; we did it directly at the counter when we arrived in Ketchikan. The girl who helped us was very kind and gave us great information — that’s when we discovered it’s a local family business — and we loved supporting them. Once on the boat, the Captain and Evan, our guide, were super friendly. Everything is perfectly arranged to ensure a pleasant time while whale watching. There are snacks, blankets for the cold, and hot and cold drinks. We spent at least a couple of hours searching for whales. The Captain was very patient, and we managed to reach the exact spot where we saw Humpback Whales and Orcas. The best experience in the world! I 100% recommend booking with Eagle One.
