We are a family of 5 with two young kids. Our original plan was to take the helicopter to Denver ice field followed by dog sledding.
However, due to extremely hot summer, most of the ice field has melted and the tour was cancelled.
As our kids were looking forward to dog sledding, we booked this camp. Having read the reviews, we know this is not really sledding (the title is a little misleading but we knew when we booked) but as as we are more into dogs than sledding, it was not an issue for us.
Our kids enjoyed both playing with the puppies as well as the sitting in the RV being led by some very energetic huskies.
On our way back, we stopped in some beautiful spots (including one with “Welcome to Yukon” sign), lake and waterfall.
All in all, it was good value for money.
