Hop aboard our Zodiac inflatable fast boats for a guided excursion on the Pacific Ocean in Alaska’s Inside Passage! Take turns at the tiller driving or hang on and enjoy the ride. There are many tours here that allow you to just ride along, this isn’t one of them. Small groups of up to 3 inflatable fast boats follow a guide boat through the jagged coastline islands of Southeast Alaska in search of bald eagles nests, resident seals and sea lions, an immense array of inter tidal creatures and, everyone’s favorite, bubble-net feeding humpback whales! Clover Pass features calmer waters and often better weather than tours running in downtown Ketchikan so we love getting you out of town and away from the crowds.

Enjoy a beautiful spread of smoked salmon dip, warm crab and brie, hummus and other snacks and complimentary beverages (Beer, wine 21+ with iD) from the amazing view at the Salmon Falls Resort Restaurant after your time on the water.

So much fun! Had a great time zipping around on the ocean driving my own boat. Following the guide made it super easy to navigate the waters near the coast without worry and he knew where all the best spots were to see wildlife nearby. All the gear is new and clean and I really appreciated the drybag so I could bring my camera. Nice to get away from town to as their were 6 cruise ships in port when I was there. Salmon Falls Resort is really pretty!

What a great tour! Our seaplane tour was cancelled because the weather downtown Ketchikan was so windy and rainy. Luckily we found the Ketchikan Kayak Company booth in the Visitors Bureau building and decided to take their new zodiac fast boat tour. They took us out of town to Clover Pass where the weather was so much better! The rain gear and the boats were all brand new and the tour only had 8 people on it. We got to take turns driving our own zodiac boat on the Pacific ocean and saw humpback whales, sea lions, sea stars and a bald eagles nest with two eagles sitting inside! The complimentary Alaskan beers and smoked salmon after getting back were delicious and our guide Ben was so great! Can't thank this crew enough for saving our afternoon in Ketchikan during our cruise stop. Highly recommend!
