Such a fun adventure trail for adults and kids alike. This trail has it all: gorgeous views, runing water in the creek, beautiful wild flowers, and blooming cacti. Paul shared his knowledge about desert plants and animals and unraveled a prickly pear heart mystery. One of our favorite parts of this adventure was his Creosote bush trick.

We really liked this hike! I never knew some place like this existed in the middle of the desert. It was like a little oasis with many trees. The hike was easy with minor elevation gain. There is a creek that you cross using planks when there is water in it. Paul, our guide, was very engaging and taught us a lot about the local vegetation. We had a blast and would definitely do this hike again!

The Jewel of the Creek was such a great trail. The desert scenery was beautiful. We went by an old, abandoned gold mine. There were towering cottonwood and willow trees along Cave Creek. We had a really good time. Our guide knew all about the area.
