Our family decided to take a very spontaneous vacation. We are from San Diego and wanted to take a road trip which included river rafting. It was Elise, from Mild to Wild, who took the time to map out a trip through Arizona to Durango for us. With only 8 days for this RV vacation and four children, her recommendations and follow through were superb! She helped us with all of the details and took extra time to make sure we had everything we needed to make our decisions. Our rafting experience was a BLAST! We had the handsome Jebb as our guide :). He was professional, funny and fantastic to work with! The entire staff was so much fun. We did the full day rafting trip and enjoyed every moment of it. Of course my kids wanted more rapids, but it was a great family rapids experience. We are now off to try Elise's zip line recommendation at Soaring Tree Tops. I will review that as well. We will definitely be back to Mild to Wild. I cannot say enough positive things about this company!!!!

We are glad we could plan all your fun, family activites for you here in SW Colorado. Elise, the Mild to Wild trip consultant that helped you plan your adventures is a great asset to our team, as well as Jeb your river rafting guide. We are so lucky to have team members like them, and guests like you! Thanks for sharing your adventures with us! See you again soon on one of our 77 trip options in AZ, Co or Ut! How about a 3 day/2 night river trip with us on the Colorado River just outside of Moab, Ut! It would be perfect for the ages of your kids! :) Feel free to request Jeb!

Wow! We arranged our trip about a week in advance and the customer service was great and very friendly! Their website explains all the adventures so well! We first did the white water rafting. The water was very low, but my kids didn't notice and we all had fun..t-Lowe was informative about the area and provided fun rafting humor! The next day was our jeep/train ride. We took the bus to Silverton and the guides were great and the ride was smooth! ...the jeep ride was SPECTACULAR! Breathtaking views and Sesh was a great guide! We learned about the area and lots about the vegetation! My entire family said it was the highlight of ur 10 day trip (which included the Grand Canyon!) We took the train from Silverton to Durango..only wish is that we had more time in Silverton (barely had time to eat before train left). We ate a wonderful lunch at the Bent Elbow! The train ride was great! Lots of beutiful scenery. My husband Is the train enthusiast of the family and said he wished we had been able to ride from Durango to Silverton because the engine has to struggle more uphill and apparently that's what steam train lovers like to see. If I had to do it all again, I would ask more about the water levels and may have passed if I had known it was so low...I would definitely do the jeep and train ride again, but try to schedule more time in Silverton (maybe try to arrange an overnight stay or two) it was such a neat town! Great company with so much to offer to take you off the beaten path! Thank you MILD TO WILD for great adventures! We will be back!

We are glad you enjoyed our Rivers, Rails n' Trails package enabling you to explore the best of SW Colorado- the river, the train, and the tops of the mountains! Thanks for letting all know about our great guides. The river is a different river all the time depending on the flow. If you want it more exciting, come in June when the snow is melting. This time of year is a pretty float with some splashes. We also offer river trips on other rivers offering more adventure! We'll see you again soon and thanks so much!

I am presently residing in Durango as a director of a new hotel opening. Molly and Alex are the greatest people to work with and truly care about the experience they provide their guests. Every adventure is worth the time! All guides are very knowledgeable and make sure every person is having a wonderful experience. I personally have taken the Silverton/Ghosttown jeep ride and rafting the lower Animas river. They took such great care of me and my family that I would not go anywhere else! They will be a definite recommend for all of our hotel guests in Durango! Thank you, Mild to Wild!
