My son and I used Mild to Wild in Durango for our first experience with rafting. What a delightful day it was....Plan to do more after such a wonderful outing! The company is first rate! Our guide was a pro, well informed and shared lots of interesting facts about rafting, the city of Durnago and made us feel like family! We did a half day trip on the Animas River and it was money well spent. I just love the memories that we made that day. It is a fairly mild trip but with just enough "White Water" to make it thrilling. Our guide even let my 16 year old son guide us for a bit! An experience he will never forget! (I on the other hand just kept thinking, please dont let us tip over now but he did a great job!) While the water was somewhat low, we still managed to get wet using water guns and aiming at the other rafts and duckys! What fun! A light snack was provide half way through the ride....First on my list of things to do when we visit Durango again!

We can't wait to see you again! Thanks so much for your post! You may want to consider the San Miguel, or Upper Box of the Piedra if you want to step up the level of adventure a notch!

Having never visited Durango, Colorado, our family of 9 needed help planning our activities. Andrea with Mild to Wild, arranged most of our vacation, including a rafting experience that fit our family's ages and experience; a train/jeep excursion (She recommended which side of the train was best for photos and she suggested a one-way ride, which was good advice.); a trip to Mesa Verde; and a day at Durango Mountain Resort. Our trip did not have any unexpected disappointments or problems because of Andrea's patient and detailed planning. Also, each tour guide with Mild to Wild was friendly, kind and well-informed. Thanks to Mild to Wild for helping us create wonderful memories with our grandchildren.

Thanks so much for your review! We love hearing from our customers about their Colorado experiences. It sounds like you got a chance to visit all the best Durango has to offer! We really appreciate Andrea around here, too. She's been here for so long; she definitely knows all the best stuff to do in the area! We loved having you all in the area and hope to see you again soon for some more family adventures!

If in Durango, don't leave without their adventure! Molly was great in helping us decide on a pkg. Joan was so patient in getting us booked. Doug was a world of great info as our narrator on trip to Silverton. And Eric made the highlight of our trip!! It was beautiful on the mountaintop and it was such an adventure. A special shoutout to Eric for babysitting my husband! We still have the rafting part to go.... Thanks Mild to Wild!! We are wild over y'all... The Autry family 07/13/2012 trip
