Overview

For a relaxing afternoon on the water, hop aboard the Privateer, a truly traditional sailboat, for a semi-private 90-minute cruise of the bay, complete with beer and wine. This double-masted, teak-decked, bronze-fitted beauty holds more than 28 passengers but is limited to just 16 during the pandemic so you'll get plenty of personal attention from the skilled and friendly crew as the Privateer glides over to Alcatraz and Angel Island, passes by charming and picturesque Sausalito, parallels the magnificent Golden Gate Bridge and sails past the famous San Francisco skyline on its way back to Pier 39.

Please dress appropriately for the weather. It does tend to be colder out on the water, so we highly recommend layers and close-toed shoes.

Captain Michael and bartender Caleb were awesome! Full of info on Alcatraz and the other sites if you're interested, just ask! He'll totally give you more than 2 drinks if you're nice :)

It's a different touring experience using boat with 37 Google Local Guides, we really enjoyed it. The 90 minutes all the sudden felt like 30 minutes to us.

It was a great experience on the Pacific with a group of friends. The crew were really nice, friendly and cooperative. We were 37 of us. Every single person enjoyed the trip. And the 2 complimentary drinks were just added cream on the cake. Loved it.
