1 Day Tour at Valley of Fire and Zion Park

Overview
Leave Las Vegas and see the Dessert on fire on this one day tour. Follow the paths where ancient native people and pioneers walked. Gaze up at massive sandstone cliffs of cream, pink, and red that soar into a brilliant blue sky. Absorb the rich history of the past and enjoy the excitement of present day adventures. Then visit the “Valley of Fire” named for the magnificent red sandstone formations created from shifting sands and dunes during the age of the dinosaurs more than 150 million years ago.

Our visit is timed to be able to see the appearance of the valley being on “fire” when reflecting the powerful sun’s rays into the valley (weather permitting).

Help create a better planet for everyone to travel and explore. We have partnered with One Tree Planted to plant one tree for every passenger that travels with us along with an extra tree for anyone that books multiple trips.

Zion National Park
This park got its name from the Mormon’s who’s settled in the area. They gave it this name after claiming that visiting the park is like a religious experience, the majesty of the mountains and silence of the wilderness make you feel like you have been transported to another place. Tour the park and enjoy a short walking trail along the Virgin river that runs through the park.

I thought the tour was priced too high for the amenities provided - no lunch/snacks/drinks, no bathroom on the transportation vehicle, no mobile wifi, no power for mobile devices. The tour guide was a very nice man but very hard to understand given his accent.

This is not a decent hiking tour. The time at Zion was 2 hours only as compared to 3 hours stop over mentioned in the tour . Total tour time was around 10 hours not 11-12 hours. My tour didn't take us into the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive, but to the Zion Mount Carmel Highway into the Tunnels. You DONT get to see the Temple of Sinawava or Narrows,(tour details pictures are misleading) as only Park shuttles were going in. If it had been a 3 hour stop over at Zion, it would be possible to ride inside, but it was 2 hour in total and I was asked for 1 hour to tracking of Parus Trail along virgin river. The guide Irene, told me that I can fill water bottles with freshwater in the river, however, it was alerted, on Park's website the visitor map they hand over at the Park's entrance, "Harmful Algae bloom" Do not drink water from river (which is unusual). Thanks god I didn't drink it. On our way to Valley of Fire, we stopped over at McDonald, which was a pathetic choice by tour guide. The visit to valley of fire was also limited to certain spots only and a walk next to visitor center, we didn't take any trail. This tour is way over-priced and over valued. It should not be more than $90 pp at max than $189. It gave a good introduction to both parks. I would rather rent a car and stay close to Zion for 2 days, than a trip from Vegas.

Hi Bilal! Thank you for your review. As you stated, this is an excellent introduction to both parks. Our tours are not advertised as intense hiking tours as this is not a service we provide. For experienced hikers it is best to explore the park on your own without the limitations of a group tour. For the average traveler we focus on well known viewpoints and light hiking trails that allow people of any fitness level to enjoy the park. Thank you for traveling with us, we would be happy to host you again. Stephanie Empire Vacations

I loved the beautiful scenery of Zion National Park and the unique features of Valley of Fire State Park. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and made funny jokes. The driver was nice and made sure we had a safe journey.
