Beacon Rock
Beacon Rock is the 57,000 year-old plug of relatively young cinder cone, now considered the most recent extrusion of the Boring Lava Field. The ice age Missoula Floods scored away the volcano's rubbly flanks, leaving a freestanding monolith that has become one of the most recognizable symbols of the Columbia River Gorge.
6
Multnomah Falls
Multnomah Falls is the most visited natural recreation site in the Pacific Northwest with more than 2 million stopping by each year to take in the views! Fed by underground springs from Larch Mountain, the flow over the falls varies, but is usually highest during winter and spring. This is also one of the best places in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area to study geology exposed by floods.
7
Bridge of the Gods
The Bridge of the Gods is a steel truss cantilever bridge that spans the Columbia River between Cascade Locks, Oregon, and Washington state near North Bonneville.
8
Latourell Falls
Latourell Falls is a waterfall along the Columbia River Gorge in the U.S. state of Oregon, within Guy W. Talbot State Park. The Historic Columbia River Highway passes nearby, and at certain locations the Lower falls are visible from the road. From the air, it’s all visible.

Had an excellent trip with our pilot Spencer. He was professional, engaging, and a great host to explore the Gorge together. We went with a friend who was a local, and he also thought the tour was fully worth it. Highly advise seeing Portland and the Gorge from above! Thanks again.

Thank you Shaan! Out of town or local, we agree it's completely worth it. Portland and the Gorge from above is pretty cool and we think every one should experience it...but then again, we're biased. Glad you had fun and thanks for sharing pictures and for the review!

As an Oregon native I thought I had seen it all, but boy was I wrong! People looking for something epic and outside of the box to do in our beautiful PNW will find exactly that on a flight with Envi Adventures. My friend invited me on a surprise sunset flight through the Columbia Gorge and Mt. Hood and I was BLOWN AWAY by the views of: - The Colombia Gorge - Mt. Adams - Mt. St Helens - Mt. Reineer - Sisters - INSANE CLOSE UP of MT HOOD! The aerial perspective that you get of COLORs and shapes of the landscape are incomparable to anything we see at the ground level. And to top it off our pilot even offered for me to steer the plane! Whether your an Oregon native or tourist, if you want an adventure that doesn’t disappoint , I highly recommend booking a flight with Envi.

"Insane aerial views" is the perfect description! I think it's safe to say that the flight you were on was memorable for everyone. The sunset was incredible and Mt. Hood was looking good! Thanks for coming on the flight and hope you'll come again soon!

I grew up here in Portland and went to the gorge every weekend basically. I’m as Oregonian as you can get, my blood is green, stumptown coffee infused and mixed with rain. I thought I knew my Gorge, but now seeing it from above, in a slight drizzle, cloudy, afternoon day, seeing the Gorge, I was speechless. It was all green, the water was blue, everything was perfect. I highly recommend taking a flight from Envi. It was perfect. Absolutely beautiful. Take the flight. Bring your friends, make some awesome memories and take some beautiful photos. Absolutely worth every penny I worked for to fly!

"Perfect" is really the best way to describe it! As a native Oregonian and Portland-er myself, I remember the first time flying through the Gorge and being blown away, and after flying through it for the 300th time, I'm still blown away. It's a pretty special place. Thrilled to hear you enjoyed it as well!
