Overview

Hawaii looks even better from horseback, so hop on and join us for an adventure you’ll always remember. Led by a friendly guide, you’ll travel through pastures and mountain trails, seeing the gorgeous sights of Oahu’s North Shore along the way, with its clear, blue water, offshore islands, and white sandy beaches. You also get a sneak peek into the Hidden Cave, featured on “Hawaii 5-0”.

You’ll ride to the top of our lookout point and feel proud of yourself for getting there like a real paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy). We look forward to you being a part of our Ohana for a day here at Gunstock Ranch.

CHECK-IN TIME: Check in is 45 minutes prior the start time of tour. A safety demo is given 15 minutes prior to the tour, if you miss the safety demo will have missed your tour
A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Minimum age is 7 years
All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking. 240lb/109kg weight limit.
Long pants and covered shoes are recommended; bring a light jacket if the weather is cold
We ride rain or shine. If canceled due to unsafe weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund
Phones or small cameras are allowed.
No pregnant or intoxicated riders are allowed to ride.

As I first time rider I was kind of nervous to get on a horse. The staff was great at explaining what to do once I was in the saddle. That sure came in handy when my horse got hangry. If it happens to you my word of advice is to stay as calm as possible. Regardless, it is possibly one of the best birthday gifts I ever received. 1,000,000% would recommend this tour for any new rider, like myself.

Wonderful western ride in Hawaii. The wranglers, Jess and Anna were fabulous guides. Learning the history of the land and conservation of Gunstock Ranch was superb! Wish we could have booked a longer ride—will come again! Make sure to enjoy the petting zoo and plant a tree for a loved one too!

A fun experience. Our 2 guides were great. Showed us exactly what to do and offered help as needed on the ride. Took pictures for us. Provided information and talked with us as we rode. The views were great when we got to the lookouts.
