Overview

Hawaii looks even better from horseback, so hop on and join us for an adventure you’ll always remember. Led by a friendly guide, you’ll travel through pastures and mountain trails, seeing the gorgeous sights of Oahu’s North Shore along the way, with its clear, blue water, offshore islands, and white sandy beaches. You also get a sneak peek into the Hidden Cave, featured on “Hawaii 5-0”.

You’ll ride to the top of our lookout point and feel proud of yourself for getting there like a real paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy). We look forward to you being a part of our Ohana for a day here at Gunstock Ranch.

CHECK-IN TIME: Check in is 45 minutes prior the start time of tour. A safety demo is given 15 minutes prior to the tour, if you miss the safety demo will have missed your tour
A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Minimum age is 7 years
All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking. 240lb/109kg weight limit.
Long pants and covered shoes are recommended; bring a light jacket if the weather is cold
We ride rain or shine. If canceled due to unsafe weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund
Phones or small cameras are allowed.
No pregnant or intoxicated riders are allowed to ride.

Emily and Amelia were great guides on our ride on 29 Apr @ 1030. It was awesome to talk to someone about Florida as well as all the other things. Looking forward to our next visit.

Wonderful 13th birthday adventure for our son. We all enjoyed the ride. Wish it was longer hence the 4 stars. Our guides Tiffany, Emily and one more young lady were knowledge and kept us safe. The horses are tame, easily redirected and followed the path well. Wish they took us to a higher elevation so we could take pictures of the beautiful Laie town and valley. Another reason for the 4 stars is that you are not allowed to gallop - our son loves it when he can ride and gallop a bit. So the next trip to Gun Stock Ranch will be just for him to learn horsemanship which is a summer program that kids can do. Overall, wonderful family afternoon together.

Aloha! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed most of your experience. We offer both a 1.5 hour tour (for a longer ride) and an advanced ride option or 2 hour horsemanship experience that will allow you to trot and canter. We hope that you will come back and try those options out. Mahalo.

Our group of 4 included 2 kids aged 8 and 14 and we all had an amazing time. The horses were calm, the staff was friendly and the ride was stunning!
