We booked this tour in the very last second and we have 5 people in our group. Itā€™s the only place would be able to hold a tour for five of us. Their van pick us up in front of the Walmart and the driver is very on time. Our guides are super nice. We went to play with the puppy first then Begin the sledding. He explain a lot to us about those cute dogs and he treat them like families. I love how heā€™s not in hurry and let us experience every second of this amazing trip. He even stop for us since I said I want to try to jump into the snow. Super nice people and super cute dogs. Would definitely recommend this place.

The package we put together with 1st Alaska Tours consisted of hiking through Denali State Park, dog sledding and one night of viewing the Northern Lights. Jim, our guide, took us to a 2-1/2 hour trip to Denali State Park. On the way, we stopped in a small town of only 300 people. Jim was very knowledgeable and told us all about how the Alaskan people survive the brutal winters. Then Jim took us on our 3 hour hike through Denali State Park. During our hike we came across a lynx on our trail hunting for food. Later, at night, we went up to see the Northern Lights. It was a clear night and the Lights were beautiful. The next day we went dog sledding. Bob and Liz were in charge of the sled dogs. They allowed us to play with the puppies and pet the dogs prior to getting on the sled. Bob then took us on a 1 hour dog mushing and sledding trip. He also let us take turns standing in the musher's position behind the dog sled along side of him. I would recommend 1st Alaska Tours to set up the perfect Alaska adventure.

Really friendly people. We saw the northern lights for the first time. We were amazed. After the dog sledding ride we had a nice home cooked meal. Easy to book, reliable service, on time. We want to do it again next year. Our tour guy was Megen and we want to thank her very much. Kristina and Henry.
