Patrick was our super-star leader for this adventure. We were in great and talented hands. Animas River was running Class 1 and 2. Possibly a touch of Class 3. ALL very easy and convenient to downtown Durango. Expect to get WET. Did I mention Patrick was a super-star?

First go out was with my kids (adults) and my husband. My son and I had never done before and were a bit apprehensive. No worries - Brian B. was the right combination of calming and humorous. We all had a blast and wished we had opted for the four hour trip. Fast forward 10 days and my friend came for a visit. Of course I had to call Rivertrippers and book some excursions! They are now officially my “go to” company for outdoor experiences! Second go out we had John. The river was quite a bit higher and we started further up the river. Oh.My.Word.! Such an amazing experience. A bit more “rapids” than the other day but Johns confidence and ability was second to none. Great value! My family and I had an absolute blast doing the white water rafting. John was a funny guide and most importantly a real professional that kept us safe on the river. Probably my favorite experience in Durango! Would recommend the $40 upgrade for shoes, jacket and photos! They got some great photos.
