What To Expect

Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park

Mitten View, Mitchell Mesa, Merrick Butte, Elephant/Camel Buttes, John Fords Point, Three Sisters, and Rain God. Backcountry: Chiefs Head, Big Hogan, Totem Pole View, Suns Eye, Ear of the Wind, and hogan demonstration.

Joseph was a great guide and personalized our tour with special pictures at great locations. The tour was fun snd he was a great guide. I highly recommend this tour as it included locations that aren’t open to the public without a guide.

We took the Dineh Bekeyah 2.5 hr, back country tour of the Monument with Joseph as our guide. As frequent visitors to the four corners area, this tour ranks up there with the best experiences of our travels. The scenery was spectacular but spending 2.5 hours with Joseph was equally fascinating. As an older, traditional Navaho, he shared his life history, culture, religion, and family experiences with us in great detail. He is one of the most interesting individuals I have ever met and his willingness to engage with us in a serious way was much appreciated. A rare opportunity, not to be missed.
