What To Expect

Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park

Mitten View, Mitchell Mesa, Merrick Butte, Elephant/Camel Buttes, John Fords Point, Three Sisters, and Rain God. Backcountry: Chiefs Head, Big Hogan, Totem Pole View, Suns Eye, Ear of the Wind, and hogan demonstration.

I visited MV years ago when I drove nearby on the highways. What I missed! This time we explored as a family with Dineh Bekeyah Tours. What a fantastic experience of the Navajo and the land they call home. Our Navajo guide provided a rich commentary on the various locations he drove us too, and patiently answered our many questions about this amazing landscape that has been inhabited by these beautiful people for thousands of years. The guide took us to places the general public can't drive to in their various SUV's and vans. He knew the best spots for taking pictures--often taking our photos as a family with this spectacular backdrop. He even played his flute in one resonant location below an arch--wonderful! So take this fantastic tour and be awed by a wonderful people in a magical place.
