Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park

Mitten View, Mitchell Mesa, Merrick Butte, Elephant/Camel Buttes, John Fords Point, Three Sisters, and Rain God. Backcountry: Chiefs Head, Big Hogan, Totem Pole View, Suns Eye, Ear of the Wind, and hogan demonstration.

Derick our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and most accommodating. Excellent history and cultural lesson blended perfectly with great explanation of the geology and the tremendous sights. Worth the price.

Meeting was on time and easy to find, a safari-style vehicle was roomy for the 6 people on the tour. Guide Derek was knowledgeable, did not use a standard spiel but answered a wide range of questions in an interesting way. We went into the restricted area. We did not self-drive the valley later as planned because we felt this tour had given us the best impression of the valley, with someone else driving on the fairly bad in parts track.
