What To Expect

Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park

Mitten View, Mitchell Mesa, Merrick Butte, Elephant/Camel Buttes, John Fords Point, Three Sisters, and Rain God. Backcountry: Chiefs Head, Big Hogan, Totem Pole View, Suns Eye, Ear of the Wind, and hogan demonstration.

Learning about the culture and history of Monument Valley and the Navaho was our favorite part of the tour. John, our guide, was knowledgeable and very personable, and made it all very interesting. He even took pictures and helped us with our cameras! The monuments are awe inspiring, too!

Tour guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable. Made it a fun and lighthearted experience while imparting facts regarding the monuments, history, family and the Navajo community. It was well worth the very long drive, price of admission and cost of the tour. My only criticism would be that our tour left at 1pm and got back at 2:50pm. So not the full 2.5 hrs as described and sold.

The tour was comprehensive, educational and fun. We would not have been able to learn or explore any other way. As a senior citizen, I don’t expect to get out this way again any time soon. It is a once in a life time memory.
