What To Expect

Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park

Mitten View, Mitchell Mesa, Merrick Butte, Elephant/Camel Buttes, John Fords Point, Three Sisters, and Rain God. Backcountry: Chiefs Head, Big Hogan, Totem Pole View, Suns Eye, Ear of the Wind, and hogan demonstration.

Our guide, Joseph, did a wonderful job showing us Monument Valley. We learned so much about it’s history, the people and the culture. Joseph even helped us take better pictures! Loved his stories and his singing a traditional native song. Thank you for an excellent trip Joseph!!!

We booked the first tour in the morning (8:00) and beat the crowds. Also, we lucked out and we’re the only two at that time, so we had a private car instead of the safari vehicle. Our driver, Roz, was great. She offered lots of information about the geography of the valley, and also background about here family. On our first trip to the valley, we just drove ourselves through. This was so much better. Being able to go into the back country was great.

Jimmy was our guide for our private tour- he was spectacular. In addition to pointing out all the photo ops, his personal history, family background in the Valley, and sense of humor were phenomenal. It was an amazing experience- we learned so much- it was a terrific morning.
