Have been to Charleston many times but haven’t done a walking tour in many years. Anxious to do again, my husband, daughter (young adult), and myself booked this tour. HIGHLY recommend! Evans was a truly wonderful guide through the city!! With his wit, knowledge of Charleston, strong family connection to the area, and friendly neighbor charm, he did not disappoint! His knowledge of the history of the city and the people that shaped it was outstanding! From Revolutionary War to Civil War to current times, Evans was full of stories, “fun facts”, jokes, and “inside scoops” about things you didn’t even know you needed to know!! He has an incredible knowledge of the area...so much info to pack into 2 hours! Churches, historical homes, the Battery, side streets, Rainbow Row...you’ll love this tour!!

Evans was full of knowledge about Historical Charleston. It was obvious he loves educating people about Charleston. The best story he shared was about Robert Small. Very, very interesting! I highly recommend this amazing tour.
