Not only will you be introduced to the great birding and wildlife in the area by your naturalists guide, you will also learn about the eco-systems, it rich heritage and long history.
Our tours are never "canned", so each tour is different. The area's wildlife move around in order to exist in their world and so must we. Many species are seasonal and inhabit different areas in different environmental conditions, so too, we must be able to adapt. Bring your cameras, binoculars, snacks, favorite drinks, hats, sunglasses and have a great time!!

What To Expect

TEN THOUSAND ISLANDS NWR

In comfortable captain's style seating an, you will be safely brought deep into the 10,000 Islands Wildlife Refuge for an interpretive tour of the area led by a Florida Master Naturalist. Depending on the season, you can expect to encounter manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, bald eagles, ospreys, herons, egrets, pelicans, rosette spoonbills, as well as, numerous species of fish and shore birds as well as the opportunity to find amazing shells.

Very nice experience, guide told us lots of information and was able to get the dolphins to Ride along side Is for a long while. Also helped us find sand dollars! Super Fun day

Great time on this tour! Captain Ed and Kim made the tour truly amazing! Their knowledge and expertise made for an awesome experience. We got to see a manatee and had multiple dolphins playing in the wake behind the boat. The shelling stop on the sandbar was beautiful and the whole family found lots of really great shells! I know my family enjoyed everything about this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone that asks!! We will definitely do this again next time we are on Marco Island!!

I absolutely loved our experience on the dolphin and shelling boat tour! The captain and first mate were so fun and nice and made it an enjoyable time! They were so knowledgeable and the trip was very educational, but not at all in the boring way. Definitely something every age group would enjoy! It was great to see that the captain and first mate truly love what they do, which made you love it too! We found so many amazing shells too! I recommend to everyone and would do it again!
