What To Expect

Shell Island

These guided tours will be dedicated to finding our local dolphins around Shell Island. Make memories and see dolphins during the trip then if time permitting and walk the white sand beaches of the island.

St. Andrews State Park

St. Andrews St. Park is one of the most visited parks in Florida, and second most dove spot in behind the Keys. The park has a long rock jetty that attracts, fish, divers, and dolphins. Get a chance to see it from the water while we look for dolphins.

If you came to Panama city and missed this, make sure you experience it the next time. Capt. Chris's dolphin tour is more than just sightseeing dolphins, it's a learning experience about this wonderful, beautiful eco system we have locally. The only thing I can equate it to is being in one of those David Attenborough documentaries. Who knew that dolphins could eat up to 50 pounds of fish a day?!? Unforgettable memories made. 10/10.

Three of my friends and I went on a 2 hour private dolphin tour with Captain Chris (CC) last week. CC instantly felt like an old friend, making us feel welcomed and comfortable. I just can’t say enough about his knowledge and passion for marine life; his patience with answering my many questions; his professionalism and *excellent* customer service - all in addition to his warm, easy-going personality. (We all agreed - he’s our kind of people!!) On the tour we very quickly saw a family of dolphins that included a baby dolphin. 💙 They came very close to our boat allowing us to see them up close, take pictures and get videos. 💙 CC took us to an area of Shell Island that was away from where the majority of the other tours went. We were able to snorkel and explore the island with few people around. It was an INCREDIBLE experience that I will definitely do again, with Flippin’ Awesome Adventures, the next time I’m in PCB. The only thing I’d do different is book a 3 hour tour instead of 2 hour to allow for even more time to explore and look for shells. Was a perfect way to spend the day, and well with the money to have a private tour with someone so fun and knowledgeable. Felt like going out on the water with a family friend and overall a better experience then the larger tour boats. Our 5 and 7 year old sat next to Captain Chris asking questions that only a marine biologist could answer in a way kids get. Will be a part of our annual beach trip every year.
