We went on an open top double decker bus and it was fantastic! Gives you a great feeling being out in the open breeze and the tour guide was very good. Ear buds are provided to plug in so you can hear the guide. The tour was very thorough and provided some extra excitement as you sometimes come very close to traffic signals and signs up top as well as some low hanging branches. We bought tickets at the hotel desk which saved us time and money. Buses depart next to Jenny Wade House which is a nice central location in town.

This tour is worth every penny! Our guide, Jim, was extremely knowledgeable and has a passion for telling the facts and stories of this historical event. I went in with little knowledge except for Lincolnā€™s speech, but came away with a solid understanding of what happened here in Gettysburg. This was on my husbandā€™s bucket list and it did not disappoint!

We throughly enjoyed every minute of the fascinating Gettysburg Battlefield tour. For two hours we were informed and entertained with facts and great stories about the importance of this historic event. Gettysburg is a charming burg made even more interesting knowing the history. The knowledge of our tour guide , Dave, was impressive. His interaction with the group made for time to ask questions and learn. Air conditioned Coach was comfortable and Ron our driver a terrific addition to the tour. Highly recommend the battlefield tour!
