Enjoy a unique kayaking experience on this Small-Group Guided Glass Bottom Kayak Eco Tour of Rock Springs in Florida. Begin your tour with a quick tutorial on basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. Your kayak tour will last approximately 2 to 2.5-hours depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop and take pictures at several of the picturesque stopping points along the way (there will even be a couple chances for you to get out and enjoy the refreshing Spring water!) The first half of the paddle will be upstream towards the headspring of Rock Springs and the second half will be a gentle coast back to our launch point. Be ready to learn unique facts about the area and spot the local nature and wildlife along the way. Animals you may see: turtles, birds, fish, otters, deer, alligators, and more!

Weight Restriction: 425 pounds per boat (two guests) and no more than 250 pounds per seat (individual)
For every minor participating, there needs to be an adult to accompany them within the kayak. Children must be at least 3yrs old to participate.
Each of our kayaks are tandem (made for 2 paddlers). However, the seats are removable and if you have an odd number of paddlers in your party we are able to accommodate the kayak as a single. Keep in mind, the same 250 pound PER person weight limit still applies even if taking a kayak as a single.

What To Expect

Rock Springs Run

We will start the tour at King's Landing and paddle into a unique part of Rock Springs Run known as "Emerald Cut". This portion of the waterway is a beautiful greenish/blue tint with tree canopies overhead. There's a hidden jump platform that we allow guests to take a leap from if they choose.

The trip was well organised. Cameron was brilliant, friendly, knowledgeable, was very helpful. The trip was amazing, the scenery and the river were stunning Such a contrast to the craziness of Orlanda Highly recommend

Jason was our guide and he was great. Very friendly and helpful. I had difficulty with the seat in our two seater kayak and he graciously got in the water and attempted to adjust the seat. Unfortunately, due to the design, he was not able to keep the seat from dropping back. I would recommend Get Up and Go for a regular kayak tour, however, due to the design of the glass bottom boats, I would not recommend them

Thank you for your feedback! We apologize on behalf of the seat back - this is the first time we've heard of it giving any of our guests a problem! We work diligently to ensure all of our equipment is up to par and replaced as needed, so I do apologize if it gave you any issues. We're glad you were still able to enjoy the waterway with us!
