Enjoy a unique kayaking experience on this Small-Group Guided Glass Bottom Kayak Eco Tour of Rock Springs in Florida. Begin your tour with a quick tutorial on basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. Your kayak tour will last approximately 2 to 2.5-hours depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop and take pictures at several of the picturesque stopping points along the way (there will even be a couple chances for you to get out and enjoy the refreshing Spring water!) The first half of the paddle will be upstream towards the headspring of Rock Springs and the second half will be a gentle coast back to our launch point. Be ready to learn unique facts about the area and spot the local nature and wildlife along the way. Animals you may see: turtles, birds, fish, otters, deer, alligators, and more!

Weight Restriction: 425 pounds per boat (two guests) and no more than 250 pounds per seat (individual)
For every minor participating, there needs to be an adult to accompany them within the kayak. Children must be at least 3yrs old to participate.
Each of our kayaks are tandem (made for 2 paddlers). However, the seats are removable and if you have an odd number of paddlers in your party we are able to accommodate the kayak as a single. Keep in mind, the same 250 pound PER person weight limit still applies even if taking a kayak as a single.

What To Expect

Rock Springs Run

We will start the tour at King's Landing and paddle into a unique part of Rock Springs Run known as "Emerald Cut". This portion of the waterway is a beautiful greenish/blue tint with tree canopies overhead. There's a hidden jump platform that we allow guests to take a leap from if they choose.

We have kayaked many times before but this was really a neat experience. It was very beautiful and even though the weather was a tad cool, the water was warm.

We can't thank you enough for soaking in the views with us and our clear kayaks! We're so glad you had good time with us at Rock Springs! The water remains 72 degrees all year long so it makes it perfect for a dip after kayaking!

My husband and I had an amazing time on the water. The air was chilly, and the water was warm which made a picturesque fog over the water. Our guide Ashley was wonderful. She was very friendly, knowledgeable about the spring and it's wildlife, and made sure the trip special and unique for us and the others in our group.
