Enjoy a unique kayaking experience on this Small-Group Guided Glass Bottom Kayak Eco Tour of Rock Springs in Florida. Begin your tour with a quick tutorial on basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. Your kayak tour will last approximately 2 to 2.5-hours depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop and take pictures at several of the picturesque stopping points along the way (there will even be a couple chances for you to get out and enjoy the refreshing Spring water!) The first half of the paddle will be upstream towards the headspring of Rock Springs and the second half will be a gentle coast back to our launch point. Be ready to learn unique facts about the area and spot the local nature and wildlife along the way. Animals you may see: turtles, birds, fish, otters, deer, alligators, and more!

Weight Restriction: 425 pounds per boat (two guests) and no more than 250 pounds per seat (individual)
For every minor participating, there needs to be an adult to accompany them within the kayak. Children must be at least 3yrs old to participate.
Each of our kayaks are tandem (made for 2 paddlers). However, the seats are removable and if you have an odd number of paddlers in your party we are able to accommodate the kayak as a single. Keep in mind, the same 250 pound PER person weight limit still applies even if taking a kayak as a single.

We agree to practice social distancing. Please keep a safe distance of at least 6 feet from guests in another party. We commit to not pair you with a guest from another party and to perform enhanced cleaning measures in between tours.

What To Expect

Rock Springs Run

We will start the tour at King's Landing and paddle into a unique part of Rock Springs Run known as "Emerald Cut". This portion of the waterway is a beautiful greenish/blue tint with tree canopies overhead. There's a hidden jump platform that we allow guests to take a leap from if they choose.

I wish we lived in Florida just so we could be friends with Ashley!! She was so knowledgeable about the area and we appreciate that. She even stopped to help people who were not on our excursion in hopes to improve their trip. Would definitely recommend this business.

We booked from the UK as part of our holiday and was a little skeptical over the experience we may have had. We had never done kayaking before. However, as soon as we met our host, Ashley everything changed. She was extremely welcoming, knowledgeable and patient! We honestly had the best time with her and the rest of the group. We done regular stops to look at local wildlife and to get off the kayak to swim. Ashley took it upon herself to take some cute photos and videos of us too. Once out exploring we came across some baby turtles amongst some really big spiders. As we done this during September it was a little quieter making the experience more personal. Can't recommend this enough. Thanks Ashley! Jane McDonald was right about you ;-)

It was Even better than expected and we had high expectations! Our guide Jeremy was so awesome and we learned a lot. Didn’t see a ton of wildlife but no one can control that. The clear water so so cool. Worth the effort. (Beginning takes a bit of muscle). We might check out another one whole we are here! Definitely recommend.
