Enjoy a unique kayaking experience on this Small-Group Guided Glass Bottom Kayak Eco Tour of Rock Springs in Florida. Begin your tour with a quick tutorial on basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. Your kayak tour will last approximately 2 to 2.5-hours depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop and take pictures at several of the picturesque stopping points along the way (there will even be a couple chances for you to get out and enjoy the refreshing Spring water!) The first half of the paddle will be upstream towards the headspring of Rock Springs and the second half will be a gentle coast back to our launch point. Be ready to learn unique facts about the area and spot the local nature and wildlife along the way. Animals you may see: turtles, birds, fish, otters, deer, alligators, and more!

Weight Restriction: 425 pounds per boat (two guests) and no more than 250 pounds per seat (individual)
For every minor participating, there needs to be an adult to accompany them within the kayak. Children must be at least 3yrs old to participate.
Each of our kayaks are tandem (made for 2 paddlers). However, the seats are removable and if you have an odd number of paddlers in your party we are able to accommodate the kayak as a single. Keep in mind, the same 250 pound PER person weight limit still applies even if taking a kayak as a single.

We agree to practice social distancing. Please keep a safe distance of at least 6 feet from guests in another party. We commit to not pair you with a guest from another party and to perform enhanced cleaning measures in between tours.

What To Expect

Rock Springs Run

We will start the tour at King's Landing and paddle into a unique part of Rock Springs Run known as "Emerald Cut". This portion of the waterway is a beautiful greenish/blue tint with tree canopies overhead. There's a hidden jump platform that we allow guests to take a leap from if they choose.

Great experience to get away from the city. It was only 1hr out from Disney World. The clear kayaks is easy to use and balances well so we didn’t have any issues worrying about tipping when we were going up stream. Christina was out tour guide and she was great. She pointed out things along the way. Helped with pictures. And even recommended other things to do in the area after the tour. I would recommend coming as early as you can because the water path was filling up with people around noon. And bring goggles!! If you can, come on days when it isn’t raining for clearer waters, but at if you can’t avoid it, there will still be an opportunity for clear water.

Myself and my husband did the tour as a stop when driving from Orlando to Tennessee. Ashley was our guide and she was amazing. It was fantastic few hours, fun and educational and I would highly recommend anyone who wants a break from the parks to see the beautiful nature these springs have to offer to visit. Definitely 5 stars from us!
