The clear canoes were very cool, such a unique experience! We paddle at least once a year but usually with a mild current, the current at Rock Springs was a little more intense so just be aware if youā€™re a newbie. Our guide, Penny, was excellent and paddled among the group effortlessly to check in on all of us paddlers. We will definitely be doing another clear canoe tour, but where to next? I highly recommend.

We're so glad you enjoyed the views through our clear kayaks!! The paddle to the tour of the spring can be more of an intermediate paddle for sure - we like to think the float back down is well worth it ;) Penny is awesome! We're thrilled you enjoyed your tour with her. Hope to explore with you again!! :)

It was a beautiful place. I was with the glass bottom tour. I would have loved to reach further than I did but I was struggling. It was my first time doing this and maybe if I had company it would have been easier for me the current was a little strong coming down and we was going up. My tour guy insisted to try keep going but I really couldn't. Going back down was easier. Maybe I'll try again in the near future with company. Lol

We loved the weather and the location was pretty, but I was hoping weā€™d be kayaking down a crystal blue river for two hours surrounded by nature. Instead, we kayaked through a murky and choppy bay, and were only in the ā€œriverā€ area (where the water is more clear) for a very short paddle to the entrance of Three Sisters Springs. You cannot go into the springs area with kayaks, and thatā€™s where you turn around. If you are wanting to see Manatees, this tour is for you. If you were hoping to possibly see Manatees in a long, relaxing river paddle, donā€™t do this tour. I guess I shouldā€™ve called the company and asked what they recommended for our wants and desires. The manatees are lovely, and the tour guide was very nice, but itā€™s just a ton of money to spend on a family of 5 for a mediocre experience. The kayaks arenā€™t ā€œglass bottomā€ or very clear/see through in my opinion. This company did a good job, itā€™s just not the experience I was hoping for. I really just wanted to kayak through a majestic river and see turquoise water and see some wildlife. Like the videos and pictures on their Instagram. Maybe we shouldā€™ve chosen rock springs? I would suggest this location if you can rent your own kayak and somehow get it there. We wouldā€™ve done that, but there were too many of us. There were tons of kayakers and boats and even water bikes. It was way too crowded, we heard people cussing each other out because of all the traffic. I spent most of the kayak trip trying not to get ran over or collide. Iā€™m just sick we spent so much money on this. Live and learn I guess, sadly. If anyone knows a location that fits what we were looking for, please let me know!

This review is for the wrong Get Up And Go Kayaking location as we do not have manatees at Rock Springs! Would you please consider removing it from this location's TripAdvisor and resubmitting on Crystal River's page? Thank you
