Enjoy a unique kayaking experience on this Small-Group Guided Glass Bottom Kayak Eco Tour of Rock Springs in Florida. Begin your tour with a quick tutorial on basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. Your kayak tour will last approximately 2 to 2.5-hours depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop and take pictures at several of the picturesque stopping points along the way (there will even be a couple chances for you to get out and enjoy the refreshing Spring water!) The first half of the paddle will be upstream towards the headspring of Rock Springs and the second half will be a gentle coast back to our launch point. Be ready to learn unique facts about the area and spot the local nature and wildlife along the way. Animals you may see: turtles, birds, fish, otters, deer, alligators, and more!

Weight Restriction: 425 pounds per boat (two guests) and no more than 250 pounds per seat (individual)
For every minor participating, there needs to be an adult to accompany them within the kayak. Children must be at least 3yrs old to participate.
Each of our kayaks are tandem (made for 2 paddlers). However, the seats are removable and if you have an odd number of paddlers in your party we are able to accommodate the kayak as a single. Keep in mind, the same 250 pound PER person weight limit still applies even if taking a kayak as a single.

We agree to practice social distancing. Please keep a safe distance of at least 6 feet from guests in another party. We commit to not pair you with a guest from another party and to perform enhanced cleaning measures in between tours.

What To Expect

Rock Springs Run

We will start the tour at King's Landing and paddle into a unique part of Rock Springs Run known as "Emerald Cut". This portion of the waterway is a beautiful greenish/blue tint with tree canopies overhead. There's a hidden jump platform that we allow guests to take a leap from if they choose.

We kayaked with Ashley as our tour guide and she was great! We felt comfortable with her, she was attentive to each guest, helped when we approached obstacles in the water and knew about he local flora and fauna. She pointed out otters playing in the water, deer on the shore and interesting plants near the water. We are generally lightweight paddlers so the paddle upstream was a bit of an exercise- but only a bit! We stopped a few times to rest for a few minutes and Ashley helped us out to wade in the water if we chose. She even took pics so we could get both of us in our pic with ample background. We will be back next time we’re in Florida! Ashley shared that we’re not required to wear masks as we were able to remain at least 6 ft apart and were outdoors. Each party has their own kayak.

Ashley was our tour guide. She did an excellent job giving you information about the water and ground/trees around and made sure everyone was having a good time and comfortable. She even went as far as to offer to take pictures for people so they could have their whole group in the picture. She was upbeat and very kind! The tour itself was some work paddling upstream but such a relaxing trip back down. Plenty of stops for some rest. We saw a deer, birds, a turtle and even an otter! Well worth the trip!

We were a group of 6 including 2 children. Our guide Ashley was absolutely amazing. She was very patient with us amateurs and kept helping us every step of the way. She was very pleasant throughout the tour and really understood our pace and planned our stops accordingly. We had our puppy with us on the kayak too and Ashley made sure she even checked on the puppy every now and then. I would absolutely recommend this tour. Very pretty scenery and very relaxing experience. Ask for Ashley if possible.
