Enjoy a unique kayaking experience on this Small-Group Guided Glass Bottom Kayak Eco Tour of Rock Springs in Florida. Begin your tour with a quick tutorial on basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. Your kayak tour will last approximately 2 to 2.5-hours depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop and take pictures at several of the picturesque stopping points along the way (there will even be a couple chances for you to get out and enjoy the refreshing Spring water!) The first half of the paddle will be upstream towards the headspring of Rock Springs and the second half will be a gentle coast back to our launch point. Be ready to learn unique facts about the area and spot the local nature and wildlife along the way. Animals you may see: turtles, birds, fish, otters, deer, alligators, and more!

Weight Restriction: 425 pounds per boat (two guests) and no more than 250 pounds per seat (individual)
For every minor participating, there needs to be an adult to accompany them within the kayak. Children must be at least 3yrs old to participate.
Each of our kayaks are tandem (made for 2 paddlers). However, the seats are removable and if you have an odd number of paddlers in your party we are able to accommodate the kayak as a single. Keep in mind, the same 250 pound PER person weight limit still applies even if taking a kayak as a single.

We agree to practice social distancing. Please keep a safe distance of at least 6 feet from guests in another party. We commit to not pair you with a guest from another party and to perform enhanced cleaning measures in between tours.

What To Expect

Rock Springs Run

We will start the tour at King's Landing and paddle into a unique part of Rock Springs Run known as "Emerald Cut". This portion of the waterway is a beautiful greenish/blue tint with tree canopies overhead. There's a hidden jump platform that we allow guests to take a leap from if they choose.

This is a very special trip. The clear kayaks are a experience one should try at least once. We really enjoyed. That part of the river is shallow and clear, therefore, no troubles for persons who are afraid of depths, like myself. This is a great outdoor activity to do in couples, or friends, or family even with your pet. Our tour guide was Ashley and she was so accommodating, flexible and fun that made the whole experience even more pleasurable. Highly recommend.

This kayak tour was really amazing, especially for a couple of first time kayakers! Ashley was our guide and did a great job of communicating clearly and sharing her past experiences and encounters with wildlife while on the river. The river was beautiful and changed colors from amber to turquoise in a really unique way along our route. It was a great experience for our anniversary and we're going to venture to more natural springs because of it! Coasting back down the river is well earned after the work you put in on the way up! Highly recommend for beginners, since there's a few breaks along the way too!
